English speaking room

I see there is many English teachers there on the site.
When I was in school, I completely ignored English and said to my teacher something like, "you know, I am not going to America and I do not want to put any trash in my head, just put a little 3 in my diplomma and do not ask me anything"
You know what, she did not ask me, I did not do my homeworks for English.

When I came to US, English was for my as a long not understandable word. I was like those little ones

Now I live the full life. , But how much I lost

If you have a students like me you may share with them this, we newer know where we may be in 20-30 years.
