My darling, I am really glad to see you here. We are sure to chat a bit from time to time. You are quite right to say that the only way to learn English is to speak as much as possible. The more you speak the better your command of the language is. I've been to the USA, but it was ages ago, though it stands out in my memory quite vividly as if it were yesterday. We, a group of Russian university teachers, studied there for a month travelling from one part of the country to another. All in all we visited 5 states and 8 cities and towns, including Washington, D.C., New York, San Fransisco and Denver. Among the towns there were Chapel Hill, Boulder, Leadville and Winston Salem. It was really great experience that made me write my own handbooks for students.
