Оличка Thank you You see we've already been to Crete and Cyprus and enjoyed our holiday there very much. Generally speaking we like islands because there's much sea there and both my husband and I grew up in the Far East. More than that the Greeks are very good, kind and hospitable people. They seem to treat Russians like brothers. When in Greece we feel at home. It's very important to feel at ease having a rest. I like to chat with native people in shops, restaurants, etc. They are very sociable and it's not difficult to find a topic to discuss: we are different but seem to have much in common.
More than that I have always treated the country as the cradle of civilization. Now we are considering the island of Korfu as our destination next summer. By the way have you read books by Gerrald Darrel? He wrote about animals. Two of his books (if I am not mistaken) are about their life on the island.
