Hello, girls!

You're sure to remember our talk about eating by colours as far as you asked me to continue it. This is what I'm going to do now.
Fruits: deeply coloured berries, such as blueberries, blackcurrants and blackberries are rich saurces of special antioxidant phenols, called anthocyanins, which have anti-aging effects and may help to prevent hunger, diabetes and heart desease. They may also help reduce your risk of cancer and Alzheimer's. You can find similar antioxidants in purple-skinned plums, black cherries and purple grapes. Most dark berries are also high in vitamin C, a vitamin with a strong anto-oxidant action. Dried forms of fruit, such as prunes (dried plums) and raisins (dried purple grapes) have even higher levels of antioxidants, but no vitamin C.
