Hello. December is supposed to be as warm as November. Maybe a bit colder, but not severe. Nevertheless you should take some warm clothes in case the weather changes. give_heart

I am speechless. It's quite chilly in my place, but, at least, we don't have any snow. Just frost on the ground. Seven miles away there is some snow on the tops of Comra Mountains.

Great pictures! Romashki Romashki Romashki They are worth putting on the walls to decorate a living room. sharik By the way we don't have any snow! And it's December 4. It's supposed to snow just on the eve of the NEw Year and the weather is alleged to be a bit more frosty than now - about -6. Curious, isn't it? My husband and I are going to Moscow by car and it is being planned on December 31. The whole day driving and then celebrating. girl_haha girl_haha girl_haha

Looks like we will cross ways, but not meet!

I will be flying out of JFK on the 19th of December, then when we get to Moscow on the 20th, we will take the overnight train to Saratov. And from what I hear from my in-laws, the snow is already on the ground. This is what I am most afraid of. We have prepared warm clothing for myself and my son (my husband is flying out 2 weeks earlier - tomorrow, actually), but I am afraid this clothing is not warm enough by Russian standards. When I was in Moscow 3 years ago, it was -25!!! And all I had was my french coat and boots (I was coming only for a week after my 6 months in France) and let us just say it was not very pleasant...

Hello girls,

It has been so long I have not visited my favourite room give_heart
I am glad to see that it is still active and you are sharing the New Year celebration plans.
I missed being here, honestly.
And in a couple of minutes I saw some nice pictures and posts.
Thanks for it girls.
My husband took his days of for december, and we will be heading to Scotanld Yahoo!
He has been telling me about so much, so that I am impatient to see all the things he told me about. Though he says 4 days are not enough. And I am little bit concerned about my morning sickness that is still going on. I hope by the 17th of December it will be more or less gone. And we will be able to fully enjoy our trip to Scotland.
And I hope there will be some snow in there.
As I miss snow in here. It snows here in London. But I have an impression that it melts before it drops to the earth unknown

Wish you best and yeah keep posting some pics.
I will do so later, some pics of the gardens that we took during our sunday walk good

Ayisha, have you tried the ginger yet? I hate to sound like I am insisting, but I really hate to see people suffer when they don't need to. Ginger is the best remedy for morning sickness I have ever tried (I tried all the tricks Wink ).

Either grate some fresh ginger and then pour boiling water over it and steep (can add honey too)

or eat crystallized ginger (like a candy) and it will immediately settle your stomach, especially during car rides, plane flights, and boat trips.

Good luck!

Thanks again dear Romashki Romashki Romashki friends

Thanks for this advice as well. They are in my shopping list too Wink
As I never was fond of candies, I couldn't even imagine that these could help.
good2

Concerning the snow, as I was missing it I wanted to go to Switzerland.
But my husband insisted to go to Scotland instead to discover the undiscovered, so I am really looking forward to it Yahoo!

By the way I have promised to put some pictures we have taken during our Richmond walk by Thames. The weather was nice. It was actually snowing. But as I mentioned earlier the snow was melting somehow before it comes to the earth, but that gave another mistic look to a day girl_in_love
So eventhough it was cold we continued walking all day long and even passed Kew Gardens. When we looked how much we walked, it was more than 5 miles. And the initial plan was to walk 15 mins, we ended up walking until it got dark.
Ok enough descriptions. Here are the photos give_heart

Ayisha Thanks a lot! The pictures are beautiful!!!!!! Romashki It's curious that the landscape looks very much the same as in our Central Black Earth Region.
More than that I saw this combination of green grass and bare trees in the Urals last year. I was there i the middle of October. Embarassed girl_claping girl_claping girl_claping

NatalyS,

If you like the pictures I am delighted Rose
You are so lucky to have been able to see those beautiful landscapes.
Frankly, I was surprised to see it myself.
I would never imagine that London would have some beautiful areas that look like Switzerland or some landscapes from nordic countries when there is not yes snow.

There is no snow in our area either. Embarassed Maybe that's the reason why the landscapes you've just shown look very much the same as those ones in Central Russia. Sorry to say I've never been to any scandinavian country. But my son worked in Kopenhagen and he says that he likes the climate and nature in the Ural area, where he works and lives now better. No doubt there are beautiful places everywhere. That' s why my husband and I visit a new country every year though there are places we would like to return. friends sharik

Smile
