in this case certainly would be the right choice, as the speaker is not certain if the partner might need the item. Therefore if you might need it would be better. Embarassed

Mary, mind conditional sentences. This one is unreal condition referring to the present or future. It must look like this: I would be grateful if you corrected them. Good luck! Romashki

Or rather real condition referring to the future. In this case, use will instead of would, i.e. "I will be grateful if you correct them". Romashki

it can be also considered as mixed condition: would referes to politeness, correct - to regularly repeated action.

Nothing of the kind, darling. It's not the problem of your English as it's quite good as I've already mentioned. Some people are ill-bred and too naughty. The best thing is to ignore them. That's all. Romashki give_heart

Hi girls!

I miss you! I hope all is well.

Nataly, I was reading this book by Danielle Steel called "Changes" the other day and I was thinking of you because we were discussing her other book with you a while ago. The book wasn't bad at all. I actually managed to read it very fast as oppose to my other summer reading. Have you read the book I have mentioned above?

No, sorry to say. I've read some other ones both in English and in Russian. The one that impressed me most of all is "Old Letters". I read it in Russian. It deals with the Russian ballet dancer, her tragic fate and her great love. I wish I read it in English.

"Changes" is about beautiful and successful television news anchor who falls in love with renowned heart transplant surgeon. After a whirlwind courtship, they marry. Each has children from previous marriages. The strain of a new marriage and attempts to blend a family jeopardize their happiness but it all settles perfectly at the end.

I am planning to read more of Danielle Steels books. I will keep you posted. I could not locate her book "Old letters". Perhaps, it translates differently.

I'm awfully sorry, darling, I don't know how to address you. You seem young and beautiful. Can I have your name, please? Rose
Another book by D. Steel I've read in translation: "Silent Honour" It's about a Japaneeze girl who came to the USA to study and met a men she fell in love with. He loved her too. By the way, the man was American. They were very happy until the Second World war began and he was conscribed. The girl gave birth to a baby. She suffered much. Then as usual a happy end. The plot seems obvious, but while reading I couldn't help sympathizing with the characters. I haven't been to the shop where books in English are sold as there are some in my home library I haven't read yet. I'm going to read at least two while having a rest in Greece. After we come back home, I'll buy some new ones by D. Steel and we'll have another small talk. Agreed? girl_bye

Oh, yes, it's very stupid of me not to remember such a beautiful name! Awfully sorry again. You love horses, don't you? My daughter loves them too. It's great really as well as swimming and dancing. I think we'll swim much in Greece though I can't sayn that i'm good at swimming. We are leaving for Greece tomorrow. Hope to meet you after we come back. Romashki

No reason to apologize, dear, I understand.

I adore horses! There is something magical about them. They are so graceful & free spirited creatures, simply amazing! I think I can relate to that. Perhaps, that is why I am so attracted to them.

I am neither a professional swimmer nor dancer; I am just enjoying it my own way. I do have my first private Salsa lesson scheduled for today, which is complimentary as I am taking Zumba fitness classes with this Studio. I am exited as I know it will be fun, at least that is how I view things.

Have a wonderful vacation!
