it trully does, but we don't say like that . the same as Russian speakers do not say "kind day". And it is a little better to discuss language related topics in proper forums . nothng personal, just trying to be more modest |

You -who? Do you identify yourself as American? Nothing personal Do you mean to say that Russin people stop being Russian after they have moved to the USA or some other country? By the way, I agree that my English is the language of a foreigner. I'll never speak like a native speaker as far as I don't live in the English (in our case American) environment. While reading Agatha Christie's stories about Hercule Poirot, I came across a statement that amused me. The main character's English was so perfect that it revealed him a foreigner. |

NatalyS, well said
At the very beginning we came to an agreement about speaking English as we can without pointing our mistakes, I like to communicate here because no one criticizes me for my imperfect English. |

Well, you shouldn't use future tense in conditional clause. Besides, you should say 'any other' instead of "another" in this sentence. |

guys, it really hurts people's feelings when you point out someone's mistakes without being asked for. For real!
For sure grammar is important, but it is not for schooling here. It's bulling. In my humble opinion. |

It shouldn't hurt as long as it has been asked for.

Haven't seen anyone here who corrected mistakes not being asked for. Is the problem really worth speaking about? By the way Dinochka hasn't come to the forum for a long time.
Hello, Фрогги! Happy to see you It's the first time you've joined our company, isn't it? Hope it won't be the last one! Welcome! |

As a matter of fact, I have to admit that I hadn't read all messages before I corrected that sentence, so I didn't realize it was really considered improper to correct mistakes. I do apologize.
Yes, it is the first time. I am not easy to disappoint, so I guess I'll stay here for a while. |

Mary, mind conditional sentences. This one is unreal condition referring to the present or future. It must look like this: I would be grateful if you corrected them. Good luck! |
