My friend from the USA who has just come to Lipetsk presented me with a wonderful cooking book "Light Cooking" So you see I'm twice as lucky to get your book and magazines and Kate's ones. More than that she brought a lot of packets with different seasoning mixes which can be demonstrated on the new site as well as recepies with them. So you see I'm very well equipped for the new project.
This is the book I wanted to take a picture of yours but was informed about memory stick being overloaded. Now I have to find how to get it from the camera and insert a new one

Today, MrMyHusband and MYSELF(irl) found a charming cafe, run by two Italian boys. We both liked it so much, that I decided to text my friend and hairdresser and invite her to that cafe now. The matter is, the girl is in Estonia at the moment, visiting her mother. But she should know about the place we are going to have our next lunch together! that's our tradition. We lunch, and than we shop!

I think so. But she is away at the moment!

Another tradition - going to all sorts of dancing perfomance.

One of my friends, a Latvian girl (Latvian Latvian), she is great! Knows her own tounge, can speak Russian reasonably, and, which absolutely amazing, - can dance irish set dance and even jig a little bit.

So, I don't have their compony at the moment. Pity poor me!

Do you mean to say that Irish men wear kilts like Scottish? By the way our friend we shared gorgeous meal with in that Scottish restaurant told me about it. The boy who served the meal ( he worked very well indeed) was wearing the kilt and looked great ( not beer. Daiquiri to start and then dry red wine to go with the most delicious pork I have ever tasted - the Lester) We spent there nearly four hours It's the first we have stayed in a restaurant so long

NatalyS, the gentlemen in our family album are Scottish or Irish in Scotland.
Irish men Do wear kilts, green or brown. Plain, no tartans.

In "Brave Heart", in the scene of the battle between the English and the Scotts(filmed in Co Cildare, Ireland), The English king said:"Arrows are dear nowdays, shall we send the Irish forward. Death cots nothing."
And the Irish stopped just in front of the Scottish army, and men greeted each other:"Good Morning!"
Do you remeber, the Irish wore light brown kilts. (Irish soldiers participated in the film, picturing both Scotts and Irish.)
