Since our life is generally connected with quite a bit of travelling--no, I don't want to move anywhere. I want to stay at HOME. ))
As to being pleased with my life...I have my man, my kids, my place...yup GENERALLY I'm fine with that. But there is always room for improvement I would like my husband to stay at home more, and he wants it as well, but his work is really demanding (he's in science)....so....ehh... have to live with that for now...
what about you ?

It definitely feels great to be with the man you love, and although I didn't move for him, I made other "sacrifices" and maybe I am still young and naive, but I think it was worth it. Life together is a series of compromises, and if the husband is a good man, then I believe I should work and do my best to make sure the marriage is continually strengthened. Especially since he also made sacrifices to be with me. I guess it is the same in every marriage - everyone gives something up, but gets a whole lot more in return (love, family, belonging).

He may adsent during 3-5 weeks....I miss him, sometimes I think it kill me, I'll hope it does not last long.....

I try to do my best to decorate our house...go in for sport...read a lot

I wouldn't have understood you just 2 weeks ago! My husband is away from me for the first time since we got married 2 and a half years go. He has gone to Moscow to study, but I will join him this Saturday and then we will go visit his parents. It is very difficult to be without him, especially since our son is still little and I work (I didn't even realize how much he helped me until now Smile Smile Smile - I guess I will appreciate him more after this girl_haha )

You are not alone... I want baby too. We should wait. Tath's a life.

Life works out in amazing ways. I didn't want a baby at this age, but once I got pregnant and Timothy was born, I can't even remember my reasons for wanting to wait...
Natali and Tatjana, I wish with all my heart that your wishes are fulfilled in the near future! You will both be wonderful mothers!

Now I only have time to read when I travel by train (which only happens about once every two weeks) and I just pick up whatever novel is in our exchange library (basically everyone at work brings any books and leaves them on a shelf for everyone else to read).

For those who are comfortable reading in English, I would recommend God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy - this is a book for those whose English is very strong, though, since there is a lot of jumping around between scenes/times/years, and it can get a bit confusing - but very much worth it. A sensational book.

For those a little weaker in English, I would recommend this: http://www.amazon.com/Stories-Alexander-Aleksandr-Saltykov-Shchedrin-Potapenko/dp/B001GO052W/ref=pd_bbs_sr_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1229628173&sr=8-4
These are the classic russian stories that have been translated into English, and they are the best since you already know what it should say, and are free to learn the English aspect of it, instead of being bound by not understanding the exact phrase/word/sentence. My husband was able to improve his English a great deal by doing this.

I love House M.D. We don't have cable either, just like Jozh, but we watch DVDs and videos from Netflix. It is a wonderful service where a new DVD is sent to you by mail and as soon as you finish watching it, you send it back. Then they send you a new one and so on. Well - this is what we do with House M.D. We have started from the very fist episode, and once every week we'll have a House night Smile Smile Smile It's usually 4 episodes per DVD, so about 2.5 hours of fun are guaranteed!

And what about Christmas? I mean Cathlic/Protestant, that happend to pass already? Any events? Did you ahve any guests?

As for me, I had my mother-in-law for a week. We brought her to Dublin and put her on a plane to Glasgow.

Isn't it interesting, that so-called Russian newspapers congratulate the population of the countries they work in only mentioning Cathlics?!

hm...my relatives, if they do have any celebration then dedicated to the fact that it's a day off and it's a good chance to get everyone together. As to my little family, then no, no guest or celebrations. we're atheists Smile

I meant that both Cathlics and Ptrotestants celebrate Christmas on the same day. Germany, for example, or Sweden, are mostly of Protestant faith. As like as most parts of England, Scotland and Nothern Ireland.
My husband, as like as my in-laws , are Presbitarian Protestants. Most of my Irish friends are Cathlics. They celebrate Christmas together, but only Cathlics are mentioned by the Russian paper.
