Tatsik,
What a new profile picture I am sure if you like Italy so much, you will go there and find out a lot about it. And make sure not to get lost in those islands, as one of my friends did. She liked it so much, so that she just stayed there. She learnt the language and working there.
Momentik, It is true that people are different. But I do not think that covering is the issue in Turkey, as I saw a lot of modern turkish girls in Turkey. I admit that I didn't expect that, but taking into account that it is in the crossrads of Europe and Asia and has both parts seems like pretty normal. I do not like to go to bazars. As I know that there might be these kind of situations. As in my own country I have to admit that I faced that and it is not pleasant. But again I just ignore them and never go to bazar alone. Just the noise itself annoys me and I can't stand much of it. And I keep saying "excuse me" when you bump to people that makes my mom chuckle
NatalyS, I heard a lot this kind of things of North Africa, this why I never went there. But I hope to visit it soon with my husband, in which case I think it should be ok. |

"Though I admit that arabic people tend to be a bit naughty. Embarassed"
Thank you Nataly that was a little point I was trying to make so unsuccessful. Dear Ayisha I was partly joking about covering my face. Of course, you are right. I love Italy, I wish I could live there. Who knows - maybe some day... . The bottom line, in my opinion, Arabic people have something in common, like all other cultures. Of course, there are people of high education (I mean intelligent people) and they are different from the rest. I don't want to be a snob or something here. I wouldn't judge people on their race but rather on their intelligence not even education. |

We are not here to judge some people. Let them be the way they are, unless we are not letting them to treat us bad
That is the point.
Speaking about arabic people, I always remember a friend. She is french, and as a lot of french people she likes to go to North Africa as they speak french there being their former colonies. (North african people are arabis as well for me, as they do speak the language). So she was somewhere in Tunis and having really nice time. Once she orders massage. And the one who was giving her a massage was man. He kept calling her "belle gazelle" and really going over the limits. At that point she didn't realize, it was her 1st massage. And after coming back she was telling about it to everybody. And we were laughing sayin that we won't call you blond anymore, but from now on your "belle gazelle" |

By the way Tunis is a great place to have a rest! And the meal is something out of the world!!!!! The incident I have described happened in the Blue-white city not far from the capital. It's the place where local people see a lot of tourists and don't bother their heads about rules of behaviour. The only thing they care is to sell as much as possible. As for Arabic people who worked in restaurants, cafes and shops in the hotel area they were rather friendly and if you come to them for the second time you are treated like the dearest friend. And the teens are superb! More European than Arabic. learn many languages and speak them rather fluently. Some even tried to speak Russian.

Indeed Momentik,
But it depends on how busy we are getting or not. Whatever it is, I just hope that it is the normal life path with some positive outcomes. Have a lovely day all of you. |

Hi Ladies,
I bet you have a lot of news as an excuse for your silence here.
How is your book reading going? I just finished to read "Twilight" and got hook on this vampire saga. Did any of you see the movie "Twilight". When I head about this movie from my friend - I didn't believe her that it is so good. Now, I am myself passing a word to you. I would be interesting to hear your opinion. Of course, if I were in my 17-20th I would enjoy even more. Happy day to all of you! Did any one have a good Fool day story? |

Hello ladies,
welcome to the new comer Анна Скоромная.
Momentik, I have finished the "Little Women", it is such a good book and a movie. I had tears in my eyes, and it makes one to want to overcome all the life's tough paths! I am glad you enjoyed "Twiglight". I will try to get this one, so I will know what you are talking about
About the April fool's day, my sister had me! She wrote me that the younger one is coming to London. I believed it, as she recently won the "Republican contest" between youngsters. I was all happy all the day long. But by the end of the day, I found out that it was 1st April! So I got her joke
NatalyS, how have you been doing? This week we had a lovely weather in here. We went to parks and had really nice time there. Here are some photos of the nature in full blossom. Have a great start of the week! |

Dear Nataly, I always thought that you have really nice English.
I live in the country and mix with native speakers, and still struggle with my language. It is a brain damage I think... . |

I don't think so! It's different to learn a language as a profession and do it because you live in a certain linguistic environment where you don't seem to need any special learning. Do you get what I mean? When I read novels in the origional I get surprised how incorrect the language of some characters is though it's clear that the author does it intentionally. It's the same in Russian. But while reading I correct and then think how silly it is! I mean to correct the author But can't do anything: teaching has been my profession for nearly 38 years. |

Momentik,
This is a Terrace Garden on Richmond upon Thames. When you are in London make sure that you visit this place. As Richmond is the greenest borough of London and the Richmond park is the largest open space in London covering almost 1000 hectares (2500 acres). And the river in the 1st picture is actually Thames |

Momentik - I didn't read this specific vampire series, but I remember at one point liking Christine Feehan's "Dark" Series - lol - it is about Carpathians, who turn vampire if they do not find their one LifeMate There are 18 or 19 books altogether |

Hi, darling! Glad to see you safe and sound! If you are busy you live full life. This is what I'm trying to do after I have retired: every day plan something useful and, if possible, interesting, and enjoy life. What about books by Danielle Steel? Are you still reading them? I mean not only you personally, but all the girls in the ESR who began reading novels by the author. It's Palomino this time - love, disappointment, broken family relations and horses that can cure love depression and help the main character regain her footing. I enjoy it. What's interesting about D.S. is that she puts her characters, who are always women, in a difficult situation and then shows how they cope with the predicament. Her novels seem to be real textbooks that help us survive and be successful and happy. |
I am sure if you like Italy so much, you will go there and find out a lot about it. And make sure not to get lost in those islands, as one of my friends did. She liked it so much, so that she just stayed there. She learnt the language and working there.
