In this case parents should say "Excuse me" Your chldren will treat you with greater respect because you'll show them that you treat them like adults and care about their feelings. My elder son is 35 and he is a general director of a big enterprise but sometimes I forget about it we fall out. Nothing serious really. Just mum being in a low mood. I'm the first to ring him and say, "Well, Dan, I am not right but you..." And we laugh like mad
But in case they are wrong or have done something I don't like I never make them appologize. It's up to them to decide what to do to patch up things. Looking forward to hearing from you and learning what you think of the problem. By the way I'm a mum of two children. My daughter is 26.

Lyudmila, my mum does not.... But when my granny punished me for a very minute, she was always asking me to firgive her. And now, when i am adult, i have very nice relations with my granny... Better than with my mum. Conclusion - i will do like my granny did to be closer to my children in future.

I learned to avoid some ingredients, that are linked as known harmful ingredients such as Flouride and sodium lauryl sulfate that are hiding in the toothpaste and shampoo, bubblebath and other products on bathroom shelves

You may check your products and look if your stuff have those ingredients. If you don't find them - you are lucky, but if you see them - then goggle what they about.

Oh, yes, hon, I am concern about the environment, and not long ago I did not understand people, who got away on plastic bags and go shopping with material or paper ones. In the plastic discovered some hormone called phthalates. It makes plastic soft. This hormone affect on the development system and also found in diapers. Is it not sad?

How do phthalates affect our health?

A: Recently, the National Toxicology Program (NTP) expressed concern over the adverse development of babies born to pregnant women who take in DEHP at the normal levels estimated for an adult. They also expressed concern that male infants and toddlers who substantially exceed adult DEHP intake estimates could suffer problems in their reproductive system development.

DEHP has been classified as a "probable human carcinogen" by the EPA. The Department of Health and Human Services has also classified DEHP as a potential carcinogen. That is to say, DEHP may reasonably be considered a cancer causing substance in humans. Rats and mice fed DEHP and DINP also showed an increase in liver cancers over animals that had not been fed the chemicals.

The offspring of rats separately fed three different phthalates, namely diethyl hexyl-, diisononyl- and butyl benzyl phthalate (DEHP, DINP and BBP, respectively), do not follow normal patterns of sexual development. In the case of DEHP-fed and BBP-fed rats, the weight of the offspring was also reduced. Other studies also report subtle effects of DEHP in the testes of young rats at very low levels.

High doses of diethyl phthalate (DEP) given to female rats have been shown to cause the growth of an extra rib in their offspring. Additionally, female animals exposed to DEP throughout their lives experience an elevated number of stillbirths. According to a 1996 report from the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), “No information is available regarding possible effects caused by diethyl phthalate if you breathe, eat, or drink it, or if it touches your skin.” This is a troubling statement given the diversity of products to which DEP is added. Furthermore, it highlights the inadequate regulations for widely used commercial chemicals.

I am bachelor of social psychology, graduated in 2006 in Baltic International Academy in Riga. I know that you are a teacher So we are some kind of collegues with you We both work with people.

I'be been working for 37 years. First it was school. This year it will be 19 years since I left school for the institute. It's great to work with young people. Helps keep fit, doesn't it?

I agree with you, Nataly! Working with young people makes you young! Like my mum, who has 8 children, people always saying me - your mother is so young!
But i left psychology after first praktic... It was in a "addicted, HIV+, prostitute and gay support association"... These people are not able to respect another people work and i decided to leave psychology... It is not for me. At list social direction.
Now, in Germany, i learn german language and then i would like to study cosmetology or something like that. I will also work with people, but they will have skin problens rather than mental
