NatalyS - Romashki Rose Rose Romashki Now you are making me feel bashful sharik

P.S. your new picture is very nice as well - While the previous one (with the red blouse) was very formal, this one is more young and carefree...

Thank you. The picture had been taken yesterday before we (my husband and me) left for the restaurant. I like the dress. It has the name (I am not sure if it's correct to call it name). It's sacura. Curiously enough. Embarassed

That sounds like a japanese name. And the flower design on the dress also looks vaguely japanese.

The dress is not Japanese but sacura is really Japanese word. If I am not mistaken this is how a cherry tree is called in the country. The tree is famous for its beautiful flowers. Romashki
Is it another actress? Embarassed

Smile The same actress as the other time - She is frequently called "the most beautiful woman in the world" by her fans. I don't know how true that is, but I like some of her movies...

That does sound familiar... the car that is called ACURA is probably also named for the cherry tree?

That reminds me - when we used to live next to New York, my husband and I went to a park one sping, and it just happened to be the time that all the cherry trees were blooming. It was incredibly beautiful, and he took many pictures... But the most notable thing is that everywhere we saw Japanese people... I guess for them it was almost a holiday.

He can't make something out of nothing - you have to be young and beautiful already for him to take such pictures Smile

And I agree with NatalyS - a husband that loves to take pictures of his wife is surely still enamored with her... girl_in_love

In Australia winter is over and weather becomes better and better....summer is comming and there is much work in gardens.
In the morning when I was working in my garden two big black parrots came and sat on the tree. They were very noise. One small bird attacked them and cried very loud. The bird was much smaller than the parrots but it was brave. Perhaps it has a nest on the tree.

Thanks a lot! Romashki I wonder how you managed to take the pictures of the birds? And the photos look like they were taken by a professional photographer good2 I wish I could be as skilful as you are.
I'm looking forward to seeing my nearest and dearest! You see my elder granddaughter Mary started school and Alexander, who is 3 and a half went to the kindergarten. As for Nataly she is looking forward to getting chocolates from us. Each time we speak over the phone (and it happens twice a day) she reminds me of it. It's my husband's business trip and he takes me. friends

Beautiful Pictures!

I have been meaning to ask - which part of Australia do you live in? I have never been there, but have always loved reading books and watching movies about it! However, one of my friends went to study to Sydney for a semester (last year) and she enjoyed it. Although I think Sydney is probably not the best place to go to get a feel of the true country... am I right?

Splattie Hello, darling! It was great! You see we had too little time to go sightseeing that's why we simply (I mean Olga, Nataly and me) walked and visited different reataurants and cafes. Just fancy I've never been to any Japanese restaurant before as far as I was sure that this special food could not be tasty. But it is very delicious and we went to the restaurant Vasaby three days running. You see Nataly is simply mad about the food and she got used to having a roll in one hand and a sack stuffed with sea food and fish in the other eating them in turn one after another. I have taken some pictures and will show them by all means. By the way I have a lovely present for you. Hope you'lll like it.

Hello ladies,

May I come and join you in this warm corner heated by the kindness of the hearts? girl_in_love
I just went through the post that are written in this page and I love the ambiance in here.
I understood that NatalyS was in the Urals.
I would love to see the pictures as well.

Ah this reminds me of us. We had such a big wedding so that we have spent all our holidays for it. No time for the honeymoon. We have postponed it to the next year. I hope we will have a chance to go to some nice place.

For the moment I would like to share a nice picture taken (by my husband)during the romantic boat trip on the Thames.

He likes to take pictures as well.
So I am thinking of offering him a nice camera.
As for the moment he uses my tiny camera for the ladies bag.
So lucky ladies with loving husbands can you tell what type of the camera they use, so I will have a slight idea of some pro cameras Wink

AyishaGlad to see you too. It's great that you've joined us. sharik How long have you been living in the UK? A great country with very interesting history, culture and traditions. I like everything that is English though I feel sorry to know too little about it. Will you tell us about the country and the people? May be your main topic will deal with English cooking and everything connected with it. Embarassed
As for a camera for your husband, let him choose. My daughter's husband has just bought a very good one, professional, but I don't remember the brand. sad My husband presented me with the Sony. A very good one. girl_claping

Hello NatalyS,

Yeah thanks to you and the link you have provided I joined this nice club Smile
I moved to UK this year. I was a busy working lady who cared only abut the career untill I met my prince charming. And got charmed. Before I was living in France for like 6 years. So I can tell more about the french culture and the french cuisine.
And UK is still new for me. I am discovering this country. It is very interesting to have long walks at the historical places and to see the different people.
In France where I lived people were quite arrogant. And I think I got used to it. Here it is not the case. I was shoked first months to see all the people I do not even know coming to me and talking to me. It used to scare me off and I was not brave enough to take the tube alone girl_haha
But frankly, I like english people. They are easygoing, always ready to help, even if I was wandering around hte busiest business center in London and asking those hurrying people for directions, they would take their time and kindly explain the way.
And another thing that was quite new to me was to see so many Indian and Pakistani people in here. Of course that is quite natural to see them in UK but hey I was used to see ppl from North Africa and other French speaking colonies.
The cuisine has not made such a big impression on me.
As I kept talking about the Fine French Cuisine, my husband bought me an english cookbook. So I will be trying those meals on. And sharing my experience here with you ladies.
But I have to admit that I miss a lot French culture. When my friend came to visit me we went to sightseeing and poped in the restaurants that is in a posch area but I tell the service is poor. As we had with what to compare ( we used to have a maître d'hôtel in nice restaurants) and were quite deceived with the quality of the service.
I am looking forward to discover other parts of this country. And if we travel I will be sharing pictures and emotions here.
For now I will put some pictures from Hampton Court park.
The weather was awsome and the park is like in a fairy so tidy and BEAUtiful!

Concerning the camera I think you are right. It is better to let him to buy his own toy. So he is sure to get the one he likes and he is looking for.

Personally I like Olympus, I think this is my 3rd camera and all of them were/ are of this trademark.

You are not far you know, you may visit England as soon as you have a little time. And do let me know if you consider it, seriously.

That's right! But my in-laws all live in Glasgo and Dunblain, so more likely I can visit Scotland, which I did just three weeks ago.
Love it, by the way!

Nevertheless, I hope to go to London some time later.
