Concerning the methods you have done do you have them on line as well?

You see sometimes girls from the site ask me about best methods of learning English or handbooks. That's why I decided to start a new topic. Other teachers might join it and all people interested in the problem can get useful information. But I need time just to to think it over. good

Ah NatalyS,

What we would do without you?
Looks like everybody is busy?
When I come to this forum first thing I do is to check our ESR!
So I did today as well.
I was pretty busy these last days.
When I come here I want to take my time and write smth meaningfull.
So I missed the opportunity of writing for couple of days.
But I will try to keep it up.

Lately I started the job hunting sloooooowly.
So far the postions I saw are not of my interest.
I had a phone interview as well, but further during discussion I got that it is not what I am looking for so I told it.
That is what was keeping my busy.
I hope I will find the job I want.
Other than that I am enjoying being at home.
And baking the staff that I have learnt from this web page.
My hubby is saying that if I do not want to work nobody pushes me to do so.

So let us see.
I am enjoying a non stress times now
good girl_in_love

And these flowers are for you girls Romashki Romashki Romashki Romashki

Ayisha Hello, glad to see you Romashki by the way what job would you like to take up? Do you like to work with people or papers or maybe computer? A big choice, isn't it? Or do you prefer Hobson's choice which means no choice at all. Like in the former Soviet Union. Whenever you come to a shop you don't have any choice. People got used to taking what they were given not what they want. You don't remember the time, do you? girl_haha girl_haha girl_haha
Looking after your lovely baby is a good job too. girl_claping girl_claping girl_claping:Or maybe I'm mistaken and it's not your babay but you as a todler? sharik

Hi, Nataly, This summer was qite borring, I worked 6 days a week, and weather was rainy, allmost all the time.

Only one interesting thing happened, our relatives came to see us in august, and we spent some time traveling around Scotland, one of the most interesting places we seen, is Safary Park near Stirling, This park is really great for children, they have alot of things to see and do: feed farm animals, see sea lions show, or enjoy attractions, even face painting ( this thing is very popular). and it's amaizing to drive a car and see all animals through a window, it's breathtaking to see lions or big buffalos just passing infront of my car....

I can't download any pictures.... but I'll try again later.....

Ah dear NatalyS,

The baby on my profile is not mine.
It is just a picture that I found while browsing the internet.
As I have told we had our wedding just recently.
And guess what when we are calling to our parents like I did yesterday to congratulate them with Iyd Al Fitr, they were asking for NEWS!
I said listen we had our wedding just yesterday and no news yet.
But they are so impatient to have grand kids.
I personally like kids.
BUt I wanted first to find a job get used to this country and than plan a baby.
I do not know Embarassed
And I'd like to the cute ones like the one in the picture.

Concerning the job search I am more of a computer person.
All my jobs were related to it. So I prefer to read from it rather than from paper copies. So I read the newspapers and books on it as well.
Perhaps not good for my eyes but I like it more this way.

I am now enjoying doing nothing and relaxing so much that I am only looking at jobs available at the markets once in a week.
Yesterday I have applied for a position in an Analytical department, let us see the results. I am considering slight changes in career as well.
Yesterday I talked to a friend.
She was sick of the banking system and its blowed profits and endless failures that she changed her profession. In fact she had chosen her first profession with the pressure of parents. BUt she always wanted to draw.
So she went to school of Art and she finished it recently you should see her paintings!!! So deep in meaning! And she is enjoying it as being a good econimst hepls her to sell them well good

Ah the weather is so nice today I just took a snapshot from where I am sitting now. Here is the view from my window.

I think I will go for a walk to enjoy it.
Have a great day/ evening!

Have you ever considered eating by colours to improve your health?
I've just read a very interesting article in the magazine "Woman's Weekly" that calls upon its readers to eat more healthily and lose weight by counting colours not calories. Amusing, isn't it? Embarassed

Unfortunately, we haven't managed to come near the William Wallace monument. That's a pitty! And they have special feasts there. But we had to leave earlier. sad

I read about this - By eating more colorful natural food, our bodies acquire more vitamins that we need. This is a big problem here in the U.S. where people's plates are quite bland - usually yellow or brown full of starchy and fried foods. How can one get vitamins from that? Therefore, even though the article is amusing, I agree with it because most colorful foods are fruits and vegetables that are very good for us!

Hello, ladies Smile Sorry I have been absent from this room Smile

JezHello, darling. The article I've just spoken about is amusing but I think it carries a lot of interesting and useful information about the food we got used to treating like something ordinary. Not only fruits and vegetables should be considered as far as the importance of colour is concerned. According to the article bread, potatoes, pasta, rice should be taken into consideration in terms of their colour.

What claims do they make with respect to these items? That we should get a variety of them? Or that they are also part of the color scheme we should eat (e.g. we should eat a plate of green salad with some red tomatoes and orange carrots but also have some potatoes and meat? - is this something like what they are claiming?)

Thank you for the list. Is the list in order of potency (1 most potent in terms of antioxidant properties?) If it is, then it's a surprising order, since in the U.S., berries or all kinds are said to be the highest in antioxidants, certainly not prunes or raisins Wink - but I am sure one can't be truly exact when determining these things.

Hello ladies: NatalyS, Jez, Splattie, Elita!

How are you doing these days?
I was running out of time to visit this lovely corner.
And now I see a beautiful picture together with health information.
I didn't know about the colours and the vitamins. But I like to mix the colours.
Yes, NatalyS when you have time please do share the article or a link to it.
I would love to find out more.

Here is a picture of my flowers that I used to have before moving to UK.

Unfortunately I could not bring them with me.
Looks like I was remembering them a lot, so last weekend my husband bought me new ones. I will take their picture on my spare time.

For now I wish you all the best and have a lovely day/evening/ night
